26 Nov Music for equality!
Here is a photo from Rainbow Riots latest music workshop with young LGBT people in Uganda. We had such a great time in the studio!
In Uganda it’s illegal to be LGBT, so Rainbow Riots use creativity as a tool to strengthen the community in a safe way. That’s why music has always been an important part of our human rights activism. Music is a universal language that brings people together. It can also help create dialogue and discussion about LGBT issues on an international arena.
Through our international music releases, Rainbow Riots uniquely empower and support marginalised LGBT people, whilst helping them make their voices heard on a global scale. We believe that you can fight for your rights and have a great time whilst doing it.
