05 Mar New Rainbow Riots project in Uganda!
In Uganda it’s illegal to be LGBTQ. We are on a mission to change this.
Since 2015 Rainbow Riots have been working in this East African country, figthing for equal rights through our creative activism and high profile projects. In 2019 we founded Uganda’s first LGBTQ community centre and after the pandemic halted our activities temporarily, we can now continue to bring the community together. Currently we are working on a new forthcoming project empowering the Ugandan LGBTQ community through music, dance and creative expression. Here are some photos from behind the scenes.
